Conor Lamb won by pretending to be a Trump Populist in a race to replace a disgraced Republican who had to resign after two decades of being a two-faced phony liar. There was no incumbent and the Republican who did run ran a very weak campaign.
That scenario is not going repeat in every House district.
I think we lose some in the House and gain a few in the Senate.
You’ll have one maybe two blue candidates win and all the rest Republicans and the MSMLSD will tout those two winners as proof the Trump/Republicans are failing.

Yeah, and applying national emotions to state elections. State voters tend to want to keep their current Representatives AND democrat voters (as we saw in Pennsylvania) are easily swayed by a pretty face who says the right thing.

Correct; anyone with facts, logic, & knowledge of the issues will vote Republican. That list is easy to understand for those who keep up with current events & trends.
But this is a divided nation that almost elected Hillary, and that’s scary.
If pocketbook issues prevail with PDJT credited with economic improvements, then we stand a chance.
If the House flips but the Senate doesn’t, impeachment will be a noisy circus which won’t necessarily weaken Trump. Imagine one, two, many Maxine Waters baying at the moon.

My reasoning for the 40 to 50 seat gain in the House stems from the Tax Reform bill. People in high taxed states like NY, NJ, IL and here in CA are hurt by the tax bill. I counted 22 Republican seats that would go blue in those 4 states alone due to the unpopulaeity of the tax bill and Trumps very high disapproval rating in those states.
Then you have the redrawn disticts in PA that are going to cost the Republicans 4 to 6 seats.
Thron in another 15 to 20 seats picked in other states due very high Democrat turn out and there is 40 to 50 seats picked up.
For the senate, Heller is toast in NV. Nevada is no longer a swing state. It is deep blue. Arizona has been trending blue the last 10 years. Trump barely carried it and I think Flakes seat will go to the Democrats. If the Republicans make a bad pick for Cochrans replacemnt, they will lose that seat to. Heavy Democrat turnout will enable the Democrats to hold all the seats they have up for re-election.
