Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein gave a resume to the Senate Judiciary Committee for his confirmation to be Deputy Attorney General. In that resume, provided under oath, he falsely stated the dates at which he worked for Ken Starrs investigative legal team.
Rosenstein testified to the Senate that he worked on Starrs team beginning in 1995 and ending in 1997. Rosenstein said that he began working at the U.S. Attorneys office in Maryland for the Clinton administration in the year 1997. However, records show that Rosenstein interviewed Hillary Clinton for Ken Starr in the Whitewater case on January 14, 1998.
Rosensteins official interview with Hillary Clinton lasted fifteen minutes and cleared her of charges stemming from the seizing of FBI documents on the former Clinton White House travel director.

Even though I’d like to see Rosenstein on a spit, this seems like a mere quibble to me.
Trump chose Sessions because Session’s stance on illegal immigration is identical to his own.
He also chose Sessions because of his meticulous prosecutorial record against organized violent Democratic Party criminal gangs.
Freeper liz has outstanding posts on this.
Along with Comey's work to get the Clintons out of their Whitewater jam.
I am thinking that maybe Rosenstein should handover his house to Flynn, you know - just because.
What kind of disgusting people are they that they can do what they’ve done, lie, cheat, manipulate, ruin people’s lives, and have no remorse? Even worse. Not only are they not remorseful, they take pleasure in hurting people.
The fact that all of these sadists happened to find each other in powerful positions at the same time is shocking. A perfect storm.
Now they are crying like stuck pigs.
Lying under oath is.
This is the opening that will allow Sessions or Trump to fire Rosenstein. At the very least it provides leverage to get him to act right on other matters. Lots of ways this can be played. You guys are witnessing the opening act on Rosenstein. Snap out of your doldrums and pay attention. The whining stompy foot act is getting old.
They took out Flynn on a quibble. Add this to the rest of the shady Mueller/Comey/FBI/Fisa/DOJ dealings and what do you have. a HUGE web of corruption. Rosenstein is done. It's all falling apart. And the Donald, Sessions, Mike Rogers, and Q aqre making it happen. Wake up people.

The world is not that black and white. And intent plays a lot into perjury.
Not so much. Lying is lying. They can play it as strict as theyre willing to. Add in the fact of the farce of an interview and clearance of cankles, and BAM. Intent. Rosenstein is done, if they want him. They might choose to work him, but Q said No Deals. So we shall see what we shall see. The house of cards is coming unraveled right before our eyes.
We are seeing things in the press we have never seen before. Repubs are emboldened and are becoming more aggressive. The tide turns. We are winning. Be heartened and fight. Don't give up.
Exactly right.
Trump had to rely on recommendations just to get off the ground and turn on the lights at the White House. After all, there was an unwritten “stay” placed on anyone and everyone who had good experience in the Beltway, if they dared go to work for Trump.
There has always been a ladder usually of three at the Justice Department, who are eligible and meet the Department criteria’ to be moved into Deputy positions.
The tiny pool of choice at JD and FBI was a concern to Trump during the transition. It was discussed how small the pool was.
Now we see that Rosenstein was moved up to Acting Attorney General, the next one who moved up the ladder behind him retired, like last week, and the third I don’t know about.
This news of today simply says that Sessions knew Rosenstein from the old days and recommended him.
Trump deferred to Sessions, given that he sure as hell (himself) didn’t know Rosenstein.
Sessions, as a US Attorney was fired in the Clinton Purge, which was one of Bubba’s very first acts when he came in the door of the WH. Sessions was acquainted with Rosenstein from those years, presumbably.
Trump had minimal knowledge of who the black hats were in these stinking departments, or even of the white hats, during the time he was throwing together a staff and a Cabinet, early on.
I haven’t had time to follow, has Q had any recent drops?
Rosenstein is protected by the Barsoom (martian) Law Firm
that protects all Clinton/Obama/FBI probes, killing
witnesses as needed, and by the Children of Operation
Paperclip. NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Bow and move along.
Sessions is all knowing. He is so far ahead of us that he can’t look backwards. Maybe he could charge some criminals while he is waiting for the skies to open and the “RAIN” to begin!
Feel free to repost anything of interest.
Isn't that Sessions sitting down to dinner with Rosenstein last month?
Why would he do that with a FISA target?
odd don'tcha think?
Trey Gowdy, when answering a question, has a habit of going back to the very beginning to freight in the legal theory to justify his answer. He carefully dots every i and crosses every t.
However, he studiously avoids and ignores the stupendous fact that Rosenstein, the acting Attorney General, signed a FISA warrant, knowing that it was based on a fraudulent document and supposedly misleading a judge, although I believe it was a wink and a nod. Jeff Sessions does the same, takes Rosenstein out to a steak diner.
Trump has been noting the fraud in his tweets and that the whole investigation is a fraud. Gowdy and Sessions no doubt cast aspersions on the tweets to avoid addressing the truth contained in them.
