I’ve heard McCabe is millionaire and that he can retire, but only after age 57. He is definitely not “pitiful”. Course if he goes to prison, he may be perceived by some as pathetic.

Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.

But anyway, it seems to me that the whole to-do may basically be a “tempest in a teapot,” because:

If he only needs 48 more hours of federal service to qualify for his full law-enforcement pension (beginning at age 50), then probably his friends on Capitol Hill, or perhaps even in the DC police department, can arrange for him to have a short-term job as a uniformed cop-on-the-beat. Or maybe a friendly federal judge would hire him as a security officer.
