Sessions is the quintessential Eagle Scout. He will follow the rules down to the last subclause and will not make his move until every "t" has been crossed and every "i" dotted.
We saw the first results of this approach last Friday in dealing with Andrew McCabe, this century's prime example of a "cookie full of arsenic."
Sessions waited until the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility (which is run by Assistant Director Candice Will, who was appointed by Robert Mueller, of all people) recommended that McCabe be fired. He then had McCabe officially informed beforehand, following established procedure to the letter.
This comes under the rubric of "strategy," a concept unfortunately foreign to too many active conservatives. A large number of cons recognize only one course of action: a headlong charge against the closest target while howling at the top of their lungs. Not only do they dismiss any more subtle form of action, but they often attack those engaging in it of cowardice or corruption, or of being an "Alinskyite-Obamaist commie stooge" despite the fact that their kamikaze runs usually end up heading over the nearest cliff.
So it was with Sessions, who has been routinely dismissed as "paid off," being "asleep under his desk," or as "part of the swamp."
Sessions took his time, did things according to the book, and dealt the swamp a good, stiff blow while leaving its denizens little recourse but to throw tantrums in the media, which they have been doing the weekend long.

The calls for a second special counsel are heating up. Just wait a bit, and you will see the war of the Gargantuas. Green vs. Brown. Or in this case. Red vs. Blue. It will be classic. All the evidence will be on our side.
Mueller will wish he'd gotten fired when we are done with him.
Trust the plan.
We are in control.
Q
Not a fan of Sessions, but I applaud him on this one.
Well done, Jeff Sessions.
Sessions has a long way to go before he earns the level of admiration this fellow ‘Dunn’ bestows on him.
Dunn seems to think those that have criticized Sessions and held Sessions in contempt for his cowardly recusal are to be blamed because of one good development in the firing of McCabe.
The thing that Sessions’s critics have in mind is that Sessions is not the only person that could perform in the capacity of US Attorney General. There are dozens of others that could engender more admiration, respect, confidence of the American electorate than Sessions. Sessions should keep that in mind.
The aim here is not to bash those who are upset with Sessions’s PR abilities. He’s not been able to transmit confidence to Americans that he’s up to the job.
He refused to prosecute Lois Lerner which infuriated members of Congress:
As a US Senator he signed on to the secret Iran deal which President Trump called the worst deal he has ever seen, that coming from the author of the ‘Art of the Deal’.
He praised the dishonest and corrupt Obama era prosecutors of the Bundy’s and the Hammonds.
He allowed himself to spontaneously recuse himself without question from a false, politically motivated, and desultory coup plot framed as ‘Russian Collusion’.
And finally, he gets one right, perhaps only after his critics have held his feet to the fire.
He will need to show a lot more before his critics let their guard down and accept his performance with a vote of confidence.
Ping me when McCabe gets indicted.
Oh, and Q is Jerome Corsi.
Trust Sessions.
We are in control.
Q
The Free Republic Sessions group think is shown to be erroneous.
Haste makes waste.Patience is the way forward....... that’s the ticket
(also...... the other anti BSA Freeper group think was parried by calling sessions an Eagle Scout)
Corsi is too fat to be Q.
Q is more like a James Bond type. License to kill and all that rot. Sean Connery, not Roger Moore.
What will you be doing until then?
Whining?
you have thus described your self as irrelevant
Next week.
BOOM.
BOOM.
BOOM.

It’s good to see someone defending Sessions after all the criticism he’s taken from Republicans. My respect for Sessions is immense, and I’ll always be grateful that he and his staff alerted the public to what was in the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill. That work motivated people to call Congress in such numbers that they crashed the phone lines and scared the pols off amnesty.
The wisdom of his approach to McCabe is obvious. The OPR recommendation puts the lie to the rhetoric that Trump fired him in a fit of pique. Sessions is top notch, a class act all the way.
I wouldn't say it's Free Republic group think. I believe there is a fifty-fifty split (3-5% margin of error) between pro and anti Sessions FReepers.
The battle lines seem to correspond, in part, to the intelligence quitient of the average FReeper.
I won't say more, so as not to offend the anti Sessions Chicken Littles. I'm very diplomatic.
Hear, hear and well said, goodman.
“He will follow the rules down to the last subclause and will not make his move until every “t” has been crossed and every “i” dotted.”
____________
Yes he is so careful he allowed Obama lawyers to give him the wrong law to recuse himself.
Sorry, but I have very little respect or hope that Sessions is on top of things.
Supposedly more are coming in the next week or so
I thought McCabe was only fired because the FBI recommended it to Sessions.
Short & Sweet:
Drudge Report Poll - Should Special Counsel be fired?
Yes - 500,000
No - 155,000
Folks, it’s five to one for Mueller to get the immediate boot!!!
POTUS, TRUMPIE, Leave Mueller right where he is. He is doing a magnificent job of hanging himself and his FBI/DOJ “Buddies”!!! The overwhelming numbers of the American people have his criminal, traitor, turncoat number (as the Drudge Poll relates). He is already toast...self-inflicted by only himself. No one with a normal functioning brain, believes any word he or his cohorts utter. Case closed!!!
