One guy lost his job. Is there any reason to think there will be any action taken commensurate with the crimes committed?

What is going on now in the shadows is the real struggle for the soul of their organization, the integrity of its mission, and whatever value left that they can offer to their country. The FBI will never be the same after this, whatever the outcome. I'm praying the country will. Actually, the problem is not the FBI.
The job of the FBI is to protect the Federal Government and Federal Officials.
That is what they have always done.
It worked pretty good while there were honorable people in those 'official' positions.
Now we have mostly corrupt immoral people in those positions and yet the job of the FBI is still to protect them.
Everything we see happening on the political stage today is a result of that conflict.
