Spy poisoning: Putin most likely behind attack - Johnson
bbc.com ^ | March 16, 2018 | BBC

Russian President Vladimir Putin is "overwhelmingly likely" to have ordered the nerve agent attack on an ex-spy and his daughter, Boris Johnson has said.

The foreign secretary said "our quarrel is with Putin's Kremlin, and with his decision" over the Salisbury incident.

Russia denies involvement and said the accusations against Mr Putin were "shocking and unforgivable".

Meanwhile, the head of Nato told the BBC that Russia has underestimated the "resolve and unity" of the UK's allies.

Speaking during a visit to a west London military museum with the Polish foreign minister, Mr Johnson said the UK's "quarrel is with Putin's Kremlin".

"We think it overwhelmingly likely that it was his decision to direct the use of a nerve agent on the streets of the UK, on the streets of Europe, for the first time since the Second World War," he said.

The extent of Putin’s corruption, the truth of his neo-Stalinist agenda masked in the false mask of Christianity, will unravel between now and 2024 when his final term limit is supposed to be up. This is only the beginning. Thankfully we have Western leadership with some hutzpah in Trump.

The problem is the Brits aren’t taking any “real” action — London is rolling in dirty money of Putin’s oligarchs (plus that of the Saudis and Chinese) and the laundering for now continues to go unchecked despite all this “rough” rhetoric from Parliament.

Rodier also reminds that “Novichok’s” formula, a nerve agent developed in the USSR and allegedly used to poison Skripal, was not so secret, as another defected agent published a book in the US where he described the special poison development center in the USSR and the results of its work, including formulas for nerve agents, such as the one used against Skripal.

“In a book, published in the US, formulas were given, which leads me to believe that many people new of the existence of such substances,” Alain Rodier said.

Let’s not forget that the BBC is just as much fake news as CNN.

London is no more. Reliability is a bit strained. Old ties have been broken and new obstacles have developed. I bet one of the younger princes is going to out himself as a Muslim.

If Russia/Putin actually ordered the hit, they would have covered their tracks a little better.

This smells like a Frame Up. Who benefits from this?

There is a story that the daughter of the spy may have unknowingly brought the poison powder into the country, herself.

“This smells like a Frame Up. Who benefits from this?”

Theresa May?

Anti-Trumpers who think he really is in cahoots with Putin?

If it actually was under Putin's orders, then I don't see a problem... DJT would do the same to a double-agent who represented a threat to our national security. Tough decisions need to be made.

Putin doesn’t care if the world finds out, after all what were the repercussions to Russia after they poisoned FSB defector Alexander Litvinenko? The point is to send the message, if you sell out Russia they will eventually kill you and there is nowhere to hide.

Re: “overwhelmingly likely”

Make the evidence public.

No public evidence?

No credibility!

Why on earth would Putin commit a high publicity assassination attempts, days before the Russian elections and weeks before the soccer World Cup?.

This would be the the act of a fool, something g Putin is certainly not. He’s w committed Christian who believes in the nation state and fighting Islamist terror. He is a strong man who only wants peace with us

This has the grubby fingerprints of the deep state attempting to frame Putin all over it

Good thing the Limeys would never try to sucker us into pulling them out when their ass is in a sling in Europe or anything.

Either your post is being sarcastic or you’ve never stayed in modern Russia long enough to understand how it operates and what the general mentality of the population currently is.

Putin needs a constant “Cold War” to remain relevant because his State’s relevance entirely rests on the premise that they were never “defeated” and that whatever was lost in 1991 is conditional and must be avenged.

The 20th Century’s traumas have never healed in the country...and there’s never been a true divorce from the State established by the Bolsheviks in 1917. It’s not uncommon today to see Stalin statues re-erected steps away from the very restored churches he once had destroyed.

Spiritual schizophrenia.

And no, Putin is NOT a Christian. And neither are many of the current leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church, especially Moscow Patriarchate... they’re ex KGB in black Pharisee robes.

Maybe Putin is guilty and maybe not. Too much Russia did it hysteria, accusations of Trump colluding with Russians (even though it was Ms. Hillary), people pushing for war with Russia, one poster claiming that Putin is building statues of Stalin, and other nonsense.

I remember Bush's WMD. And now fake news. So it would come as no surprise to me if this is another fake story.

You're alluding to my experiences of having lived in Russia as being fake news?

99% of false flag claims are utter BS. But I have my suspicions here. This just might be a Putin frame up.
