Wow. My Dad used to teach at UNLV and he was there when Tark’s Boys made those awesome runs. Greg Anthony was one of his students back then. Years later, when I was in Vancouver and he was with the Grizzlies, I talked to him and he remembered my Dad
If he wins the House seat it would be a gain.
I’m at a loss now. I am a huge supporter of Danny Tarkanian but he is not running in my district.
I despise Dean Heller and Adam Laxalt and cannot vote for either of them.
I guess vote none of the above on Senator. :(
His loss in 2016 would have been Harry Reid’s doing.
If you lose running for city council you don’t run for Mayor the next time around. Talk needed Trump to come around.
How we ever gonna drain the swamp like this? Heller seems to be a pro-amnesty globalist.
And note that several LOSERTARIAN wannabes HUGELY cost Tarkanian the victory. I swear that Soros must be roundabout funding these LOSERTARIANS (and LOSERTARIAN wannabes) to take votes so the RAT candidates can win.
Nothing on immigration will get through with a veto proof majority so to lose a seat over it is not smart. At the end of the day, in this climate numbers are all that matters. If the Democrats have reasonable non far leftists candidates who won’t spend 2 years trying to impeach then I’m sure he’d play the game different but this is where the country is right now
The best RINO Senate candidate can keep the seat for 6 years, 12 if it’s a blue state. In Ohio Trump won but so will Sherrod Brown. Kasich call your office. Patiently waiting for Governor Scott in Fla. to announce.
J. D. Hayworth?
Not all, but some of the swamp dwellers were kept in line via blackmail from the Uniparty (e.g. ‘If you don’t vote the way we want you to on this bill, news of that affair you had last year might come out’). I’m not saying this was the case with Heller, but I do notice that one way or another, Trump has gradually won many of the GOPe over to his side - certainly enough to allow the epic 2017 tax bill to pass. There is speculation that Trump is bringing down these blackmail networks behind the scenes and freeing many of these politicians who were previously held hostage.
Clearly Trump’s strategy with the GOP has been to use various means to bring them over to his side rather than going to all out war with them. As a businessman he has probably made the calculation that it was the easier and more effective approach.
What’s wrong with Laxalt? Sandoval, Heck, even Ensign were all losers.
Trump was not “right” about Moore. Without GOPe trashing and non-support of Moore, he would be Senator. A bit like me predicting that someone’s car will crash, then cutting their break lines.
Trump realizes any open endorsement of non-swamp Senators will likely result in his impeachment. Sick concept, but that is the way it is. It is up to We The People to drain the swamp, apparently.
Tarkanian has had enough failed runs for a friendly House district to maybe look a little more manageable for him, too. It could be the stepping stone for him eventually moving up to the Senate.
We don’t have a veto proof majority on amnesty.
We have FOUR Senators that side with the citizens and the rule of law.
JD Hayworth
You up for a democrat!!!
Maybe he really won and Trump showed him the real numbers.
I really don’t consider Dean Heller any better than a Democrat.
I don’t believe your second paragraph. That’s not Trump’s way.
As for your first, you’re certainly totally entitled to your point of view.
