This is insane. Risk war with Russia over Syria so a bunch of radical Muslims can take over from Assad? Get the US out of there now! Why would our soldiers fight and die for any Muslim group? They are all willing to use us, but then will turn on us at the first opportunity. Islam is the problem, not any one leader or the other.
Blow through refinery, and go home. If Syria gets its act together they can repair the field, The Jihadi can’t build anything, they are just destruction. That refinery is only vauable to them if they can loot it.
I am sure our engineers could breach the large pressure vessels in the cracking units so they eould have to be replaced not repaired. ISIS can’t purchase and ship replacements.

I totally agree. The reason for the steady drip drip drip of attacks on Trump aside from driving him from office? To drive him into direct conflict with Russia, to keep the “arab spring” alive. It serves someones interests, not Americans or anyone I care about.
Let the entire ME implode, it is not our problem. The lesson of the World Wars was not that we should be more proactive like Britain was. The lesson is, we should stay home and prepare to make a decision after these EU supporting idiots get their asses in a sling that may be Nationally fatal to them.
