These courts get appealed all the time.
And too many appeals through the court system makes the judges themselves look bad. What happens after that ? I have no idea. But I understand there is some sort of check and balance there with ruling from the bench.

Assault charges can be brought against the individual perps by the victims. It sounds like the police are aware. It would be up to the DA to file against the school. I agree with you- thats not going to happen.
