I was driving around St. Louis last fall, very near Ferguson, where recently a white cop shot dead a black teen. A black man, V, was waiting at a bus stop alone. I figured I could get him home half an hour earlier than the bus, so I stopped and offered him a ride. As we talked, I learned that his entire life experience has been in one locale, North St. Louis. I asked him what the news is around here and what's going on. I referenced Ferguson. That got V going.

Full disclosure. Good on you.
I always say.. look around where you live.. Do people get along? Unless you live in a Leftist riot-inciting cesspool of a city.. the answer is yes.. True Racism is rare.. its not about color.. its about culture.
To be accorded the same respect as the Black Man, the Gay Man, the Latino Man. To have White Privilege that is at least the same as Black Privilege and Illegal Alien Privilege.
I know, I know. Unattainable.
1. Get off my back.
2. Pull your own weight.
3. Leave me the hell alone.
Amen to that!
The same things everybody else wants.
Next question.
Mostly I just want to be left the **** alone
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
That hits it on the head.
Square on.
Being left alone means all the radicals that have managed to get under the HUGE LEFT tent (by tent I am basically tossing in Rs - at least RINOs) I don’t really think that Ds in general should be tossed in the L pot, I know many many Ds that do have some ‘common sense’ and just choose D - I do NOT hold that against them.
I - in true fashion - don’t choose companions based on what color their skin is, I am basically ‘skeptical’ of ALL until I get to ‘know them’.
Once everyone starts on the ‘floor’ only way to go is up, some rise swiftly some just linger.
That USED to be my choice - today if I don’t happen to like the personality/BO/hair style etc I am automatically told that I am either racist/prejudice/anti ________, so according to todays ‘rules’ I must ‘love EVERYONE’ - not just in acceptance but I am virtually ‘forbidden’ to dislike someone.
I was raised in the 40s/50s never had a ‘bad’ experience with Blacks - went to school with a few but had more problems from the White kids than the Blacks but I was always the BNG and sort of small etc so I was definitely ‘Bully Bait’. I overcame that through sports.
I was in a field in the USN which was mostly populated with White Men with a mild sprinkling of Blacks/Females etc at least where I was stationed (WashDC 1962-64 Shore Duty) rest of time aboard female less ships with enough ‘others’ to make it a community.
My choice of ‘profession’ after USN put me in touch with MANY Blacks as I was in Asphalt and in late 60s-70s-80s they dominated the work force (in my area). During this period I did work for some LEGITIMATE Black Owned Companies, became a sort of Liaison/Mentor/Advisor for a retired NFL player who went into the Asphalt Business.
But, I was going down the path of ‘living and let live’ to the almost despising of a couple of groups and did ‘catch’ myself.
I in no way consider myself a ‘pioneer’ in the ‘movement’ but I feel I did contribute and have made some good friends along the way - which is not easy as I am definitely a person person NOT a people person.
I was having a discussion with a Black Restaurateur/Entrepreneur/Vet whom I consider a friend and this ‘mentor’ matter came up and he was relaying how his Mortgage/Money Manager Mentor was white and Whites (of all ages) were ‘reluctant’ to take his advice without assurance from the White Manager(He admits he may have been overly sensitive in some cases).
My experience in that line was the former NFL player - still in his prime as the HWP 6’6 250s etc and in 1980s/90s Northern Va he was a ‘scary intimidating looking individual’.
I used to accompany him on ‘ventures’ and inevitably all the other Owners/money people/ etc would come to me and I became very adept in turning every question - be it about the weather or business - to John and asking his ‘advice’ or recommendation...
After two meetings I no longer had to go as they now considered me to be the ‘lackey’...PLAN WORKED.
Today, I still take people the same way, most of my REAL friends have passed along due the end of lifes journey and I do realize that despite ‘my WORK in the ‘movement’’ when the SHTF I will just become another ‘honky’ in the eyes of many but I am prepared for that...
In town I do prefer the Black Funeral Home owners to the ‘others’ in town/area so I will probably have one last group to ‘weewee’ off carrying out my final wishes.
My ex(and only) wife used to tell me I was ‘so miserable’ that no one would show up at my funeral and I told her she was definitely wrong because a certain number will show up just to make sure it is ‘YOU’ in the casket or urn and I wont really GAF who is or isn’t there but it may be embarrassing to her....<: <:
Very well thought out and written. Thanks for sharing.
Is this news or blog fodder? If you wrote it, why are you excerpting?
Houston, we have a problem.
Nice article.
Image of Sirius A and Sirius B taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. Sirius B, which is a white dwarf, can be seen as a faint point of light to the lower left of the much brighter Sirius A.
Somebody's good tagline...
I would exclude the Left from this. They're always thinking about ethnicity [race] and how to divide us.
Great article. Thanks.
Eternal life.
Amazing wot?
So many want to be left alone—me too!
Yet This world—180 out from Reality—is solely the only place where this is not possible.........

1. To be thought of as a man, not a white man.
2. To be left to the quiet enjoyment of the things he’s worked for.
3. A better life for his kids, which is tough since the law regards white men as walking wallets to the family court system.
4. To have kids without women, who 8 out of 10 times decides motherhood is too much trouble.
5. To have the announcers not ruin every decent moment in sports with either politics, or yammering.
A cup of coffee. And a sammich.
