J Street opposes Pompeo for Secretary of State.

'Pompeo is a hawkish ideologue'The far-left J Street lobby announced that it opposes CIA Director Mike Pompeo's nomination for Secretary of State and urged Senators to scuttle appointment. "We oppose Pompeo’s nomination and urge Senators to vote against his confirmation," said J Street. "Pompeo is deeply ill-suited to manage US foreign policy and, in particular, the future of the JCPOA nuclear agreement with Iran."

"Even in an administration known for its fundamental hostility to diplomacy, Pompeo stands out as a hawkish ideologue and an extreme advocate for the use of military force," continued the statement. "He called for the use of military force against Iran even in the midst of productive negotiations and has promoted the doctrine of “regime change” — a recipe for another destructive war in the Middle East."

He has always been supportive of Israel and has attended and spoken to AIPAC groups which are the exact opposite of J-Street.
I have attended and heard Mike speak to the groups when he was a Congressman from Kansas.

Pompeo is an incredibly smart and accomplished guy. Sharp as hell. He and I disagree on Assange & Wikileaks; but I attribute that to his, OK, hawkish makeup in particular with regard to keeping military & intelligence secrets. Without Wikileaks, there’s a reasonable possibility that HRC would be president. Other than that one point, I support him completely.

BOL! Before the 2016 elections, our local liberal rag of a newspaper endorsed candidates and ballot issues. I wrote them a letter which said:

“Thank you for saving me time and research as I will be voting against all of your endorsements”.

Decades ago I was a member in an active service club. The editor of the local fishwrap was a flaming liberal and a member of the club. A week before a state and local election, they published their recommendations.

Like in your case, I could just use his endorsements/recommendations and vote against them.

So in the meeting before the elections. I got up an held his newspaper endorsements/recommendations and thanked him. I told the president of the club that I was donating $50 to the club because the editor of the local fish wrap made it so easy by just doing the opposite of what he recommended in the news paper.

He never spoke to me after that. Another time saver for me.

Now we know he’s the right man. It’s beginning to feel like Trump has is starting to put the people in place he really wants. Some of his picks were made to calm down the panicked GOPe leaders after he got in. Time to go for broke and dump Sessions and McMaster. If not Sessions then Rosenstein one of them must go or Trump will be impeached because no one could survive the relentless witch hunt Mueller is conducting, no one.

I guess it would depend on the circumstance.

I have spent a fair amount of time in the ME. I am not a fan of muzloids and arab culture in general.

I do draw the line at gratuitous.

Thanks.

I sent it in as a Letter to the Editor and couldn’t believe it when they published it.

Well, of course they do.

Maybe I was misinformed.... But I was under the impression that once someone was approved by the Senate for a Cabinet position, they could move to another Cabinet position without confirmation.

J Street is the Marxist version of the Nazi’s Jewish KAPOS (like Soros).

They are the scum of the earth and traitors to Judaism. Other than that, they are the “perfect Democrat” - mindless, blind obedience practionners, liars, and traitors to America.

No wonder Obama and Hillary liked them. They kissed their asses with perfection.

Have you ever noticed that there are a lot more liberal Jews in America than conservative Jews, and that there are a lot more Jews elected as democrats than republicans.

Republicans don't elect many Jews, Negros, and Mexicans.
