I saw this act in the summer of ‘68 at the old Houston Music Theater. Surprised he didn’t set fire to the curtains.

I first heard it on the radio as a kid and had never seen the act until the last year or so.

Yeah, I’m surprised they didn’t burn something down. They must have taken great care (probably under the supervision of the local FD and stood ready to fight the fire).
