Rodney Dangerfield had a joke that went something like:
“I had a tough childhood. I mean, my own parents didn’t love me. As a baby my mother didn’t even breast feed me. She said “Let’s just be friends”.
I watched a biography of Rodney Dangerfield on Youtube over the weekend. He really did have a hard live. His father was absent apparently because his mom really was horrible. He became the bread winner of the family at a very early age.
