Not bad, but worse than if they could home school. It’s sort of like a single mother is not as good as having both a father and a mother, generally speaking. The single mother is sorta stuck, obviously, unless she gets married, but that IS the bottom line.

It’s kinda sad that we’ve reached a point in this country where both parents have to work outside the home just to make ends meet. The irony is that in many cases, after taking into account the COST of the second income, it often is not worth it. i.e. the second income really doesn’t bring in enough money after taxes and the expenses of working to be actually worth it.

The couple does not stay at home with the children to homeschool them.

It only takes ONE parent to do the homeschooling and the other parent can work.

They just have to live within their means and not as if, just because every family member does not have a smart phone, they are deprived of some kind of basic right.
