Your comments, inputs, items of interest, relative weather in the district, turnout as the day goes by, voting problems with machines, equipment, things of interest to voters & observers, general overview, etc. are most welcome!!!
Surrendering before the polls close .. great tactic
Well, that would do it for me, FWIW. I am in a rust belt state as well and I can see a lot of Ind and non-liberal D voters taking well to such a message. It's what pushed me over to Trump to begin with. He certainly did not have a "traditional" R message. Our Governor hates him for it, but that still didn't stop Trump from copping an eight-point win statewide and 18 EVs to boot.
I live in Westmoreland County, strongly Republican. Voter turnout has been very strong today according to the ladies working the polls.
Folks, I guess the network TV stations have given up on exit polling activity. I witnessed none of it being reported in the early evening of the Texas Primary and I have not seen or heard of any exit polling this evening.
I think and believe the TV networks were so badly burned in the POTUS race of 2016 when they fawned all over the oncoming winner, Hillary Clinton...NOT!!!
When I saw nothing being reported in the late afternoon, early evening in Texas...I told my wife..honey..tonight Abbot & Cruz, etc. are going to eat the Democrats alive and...it turned out I was dead on. It will be interesting to see what comes about this evening, in about two hours or so, this evening. IMHO, the major TV stations already have a pattern of the way the vote is going. Stay tuned!!!
I didn’t surrender. I just said I had a bad feeling about this race. Never surrender! The Dims will ruin this country if we let them.
At WJC?
You’re assuming they want to win.
So you are saying that these voters are completely insane?
It’s a majority Democrat district (so the answer is Yes!). I lived there for decades. Leftist thinking is rampant.
BTTT
Results start coming soon!
Polls close at 8 pm.
Believe it or not, The NY times has the absolute best election result system out there. It gets its feed right off the AP feed line. the layout is simple understandab le and no nonsense.
Like Joe Friday, “Just the facts folks, just the facts!!!” Funny, isn’t it, such a miserable lousy newspaper, yet they have a great election reporting site. Go figure!!!
Just type in: NY Times, Pennsylvania 18thCD Congressional Seat, Run-off Election Results...and it will come up on your screen. Voting ceases in one hour....results start coming in within 15-20 minutes after the polls close. Enjoy...no political slants, just the plain old results.
CBS evening news can’t even wait.. can a Trump seat turn blue?????? Calm the F down.
For those of us who refuse to give the msm hits -http://www.electionreturns.pa.gov/
nice
the NYT meter is THE BEST!
I’m so nervous..
It will come down to turnout...
I’m calling it for Lamb, based on other special elections we’ve seen this year.
Only a strong GOP surge can save Saccone.
I just want this over with either way.
Personally, I see it as a lose-lose. If Lamb wins, we’re screwed, will be beat over the head with it for weeks if not months.
If Saccone wins the GOP will think they’re doing everything right and cost us the midterms.
Yup. It would suck if this seat flipped Blue tonight and my call is based on expecting the worst.
Because Democrats are loaded for bear. I hope I’m wrong.
