I’ve noticed this at other stores , where the hired help doesn’t know about the products they sell. Buddy of mine used to go to Radio Shack for various radio components, and was so annoyed that he couldn’t get good assistance at Radio Shack. The people who worked there were clueless. It’s makes you wonder how do retailers train their hired help.

Then again, maybe there is minimal training. But then again, a specialty store such as Radio Shack purported to be, is not going to be able to take care of the customers without knowledgeable salespeople.

People didn’t go to Radio Shack just to buy batteries off the shelf.

I’d say at most retail stores the help doesn’t know much. They can help you find the aisle and that’s about it.

I’ve seen it at many stores.
