Once Kennedy retires and is replaced by a true conservative, maybe Ruth Bader Ginsburg will accept that her opinion will no longer matter and retire.
One thing we have to take into consideration here. We are up against the clock. If Kennedy retires, we have until November to seat a new Justice. As we all know, the Republicans in the Senate held off Obama’s choices. Democrats will do the same thing until the election is over.
It’s up to Kennedy whether he wants to screw Trump out of a possible nomination, or help the country in letting Trump have a nominee. I think after the vote on Janus vs AFSCME Kennedy will retire.
