An illegal bribe?

For an attorney to pay a private party (NOT a government employee, government contractor, or foreign government or foreign agent or foreign spy!) for a private affair - BEFORE the person involved was even a government employee?

No, I’m thinking they will try to play the “Moral Majority hypocritical Christian white male” trick that would have succeeded with anybody else.

But Trump’s voters KNEW he was not a perfect person with a perfect life ... before Melania, he had been divorced, been re-married, had children by previous wives. Now, earlier Presidents did not have that background. Infidelity charges would have mattered.

But Clinton CELEBRATED his affairs. (As did Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy, Johnson, ... And hundreds of democrat and repubbie Senators since then.)

Geez, guys. Don't shoot the messenger. Jaydubya2 asked a question that I responded to because I had heard a discussion on exactly that point. I didn't say the allegations had any validity (because I don't think they do). Hell, even the analysts in the discussion thought the allegations were flimsy.

For political purposes, that's the long game to turn Trump's base against him but it isn't useful for impeachment. Impeachment needs a crime.
