Well, several times this week Rush said, “Trump ran on tariffs. He likes tariffs.”
I wanted to call just to say “No, Rush, you’ve missed the point.
He ran on using tariffs if need be, but Donald was adamant that the screwing of America with bad trade deals or government’s protecting the foreign market from American goods were over.”
Trump is always playing The art of the deal he never stops.
He may say "tariffs" but what he really means is bad tariffs that are not fair to us. What he will really achieve is a much more fair deal that we should have got years ago.He will negotiate endlessly and we will be far better off than before.
The word tariff can easily be misconstrued.
