Isn't this the second robbery using AR-15's in as many days? Doe anyone else find this odd and suspicious? AR's are expensive weapons and not exactly concealable, and now we have clowns ripping off a clothing store and a deli. Something stinks and it's not the Limburger in the deli!

because it had nothing to do with a robbery. It was a gang war.
And knowing BPT police it was likely a gun that was stolen from a cruiser.
That is a seriously bad town.

Careful. You’ll wind up on the nut-job conspiracy list with Mr. Null and Void and myself.

Yes AR’s are mostly expensive (there are some cheapos out there), but I am sure the ones used in crimes were stolen

Police already caught them, found the weapon, etc. One of them jumped off of an overpass while being chased and croaked.
Suspects in Metairie clothing store robbery named, including man who fell to deathhttp://www.nola.com/crime/index.ssf/2018/03/clothing_store_robbery_chase_j.html

Isn't this the second robbery using AR-15's in as many days? Doe anyone else find this odd and suspicious? Not at all. AR-15s are the most popular rifle in America. Its light and easy to wield. They are an ideal weapon for almost every application where a firearm would be needed, legitimate and criminal alike
And they can be had for under $500. Their increasing popularity with bad guys is not surprising.

Perhaps, but the anti-gun politicians hide the fact that “teens” in the inner city are armed to the gills. The idea that gun control is going to stop these thugs from having any kind of weapon is ludicrous. This is why cops have to go into these places in armored vehicles and with their own high-powered weapons. They are war zones.
