Former President Barack Obama is in advanced negotiations with Netflix to produce a series of high-profile shows that will provide him a global platform after his departure from the White House, according to people familiar with the discussions.
Under terms of a proposed deal, which is not yet final, Netflix would pay Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, for exclusive content that would be available only on the streaming service, which has nearly 118 million subscribers around the world. The number of episodes and the formats for the shows have not been decided.

I don’t think “uh...err....mmm....uh, uh, uh.....ummm,....speak Austrian....ummm....err, err, 57 states...ummm, ummm, er...can’t drill our way out of this...err...errr...umm...police acted stupidly” is going to attract many viewers.

Don’t cancel. Wait for Obama’s show and give the first episode a thumbs down, then wait. Lot’s of people will do the same and problem solved.
Money is fungible. If Netflix is laundering the money to Obama, Netflix won’t be out a damned cent.

Clinton and Obama exploit the presidency mercilessly ----and make a buck on it.
No more eternal presidencies, presidential quick-buck foundations and endless million dollar speeches.
Obama, his wife and the Clintons are mindless “quick-buck artists.”
They need to be told when to come in out of the rain.

In one possible show idea,
Obama could moderate conversations on topics that dominated his presidency — health care, voting rights, immigration, foreign policy, climate change — and that have continued to divide a polarized American electorate during President Trump’s time in office.
Another program could feature Mrs. Obama on topics, like nutrition, that she championed in the White House. The former president and first lady could also lend their brand — and their endorsement — to documentaries or fictional programming on Netflix that align with their beliefs and values.
(If this happens I will be canceling Netflex altogether!)
I think we should all contact Netflex and say we’re done with Netflex if they do this!
