Facebook videos showing Border Patrol agents arresting a woman in San Diego went viral Thursday, with immigrant-rights activists saying they show a woman being torn from her children — but the agency said she was actually an “organizer” for a major smuggling operation.
Activists seized on the videos as evidence of overbearing enforcement.
But the Border Patrol said the woman was a justified target, given her involvement with a smuggling operation and her unauthorized status here in the U.S.

That has been the law in Japan for DECADES; without showing that card you can’t register a bicycle, can’t register for classes, visit a hospital, can’t rent an apt/buy a house....

She was arrested in National City, CA. That is next to San Diego and only about 12 miles north of Tijuana. Her friends and family can visit her there. BTW, did you notice that most of the Border Patrol agents were Mexican Americans and they did not give a crap about her crying.

I saved much of the thread. I m mulling over their "official" translation of the comments, together with accurate translations.
This is problematic. Every country south of our borders has their own version of Spanish. As a part time certified volunteer translator for many years, I had to keep different versions of dictionaries as created by the Real Academia de la Lengua Espanola, for the different latin countries from Mexico to Tierra del fuego.
If I get pi***d off enough, I might go ahead and translate all the comments to illustrate the duplicity and dishonesty of all the cultures in an attempt to garner undeserved additional sympathy. Of course, the phony American sympathizer traitors are an imortant part of the phony "editing."
