Sen. Jeff Flake’s bill to enshrine the DACA program in law would also make the illegal immigrant “Dreamers” eligible for Obamacare — including perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies to buy health plans, Congressional scorekeepers said this week.
Mr. Flake, Arizona Republican, tried to power his bill through the Senate on Tuesday, but was blocked by another senator.
His bill would offer those who qualified for the original DACA program a new, three-year legal status, which would include permission to work in the country legally, in exchange for $7 billion — or about three year’s worth of funding — for President Trump’s planned border wall.

Every foreign student here has Obamacare. The Muslims and Hispanics have it already. Obama said “come help me divide America and CAIR and I will screw the taxpayers.”

Desirable immigrants work and pay their own way and support their children. I’m all for desirable immigrants.
We should focus on undesirable aliens. Welfare parasites are one of 3 categories of undersirables. The other two are terrorist sympathizers and common criminals (murderers, rapists, DUI drivers, etc)
I have a better idea. My proposal would offer some of those who qualified for the original DACA program a new, permanent legal status, which would include permission to work in the country legally, in exchange for going back to their own country, applying for legal entry, and being chosen as someone whose presence would help the United States as a whole and working Americans in particular. Then they could become legal immigrants, just like my ancestors, and they would be welcome and allowed to work legally. Following the law - what a concept!

The special election is the litmus test for this tariff. I do not know which way the election will go. Trump won that area by 20 percentage points. Much less that that next Tuesday and the rationale for the tariff collapses.
Everyone who supports this tariff had best get on the ground in that district and hustle votes ... or shut up.
