Nikolas Cruz indicted on 17 counts of murder, jail records reveal odd behavior in days after Florida massacre [full title]
Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz, whose jail records show was unapologetic and behaved oddly in the days following the massacre, was formally charged Wednesday with 17 counts each of premeditated murder and attempted murder.
The Broward County grand jury announced on Wednesday the 34-count indictment for Cruz, who allegedly opened fire inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, killing 17 people. The attempted murder charges were for the 17 other people injured in the mass shooting on Valentines Day.
Nikolas Cruz appeared to "break out in laughter" during and after a visit from his attorney, jail records showed. (Reuters) Fox News earlier obtained jail records released by the Broward Sheriffs Office that detailed officers observation of Cruz in solitary confinement. The observations, taken between Feb. 17 and Feb. 24, illustrated the 19-year-old's odd behavior in the days after he allegedly opened fire inside
In an entry on Feb. 17 three days after the Parkland massacre Cruz was noted as relaxed, cooperate, logical and coherent with a normal speech, jail records showed. The reports for the following days showed roughly the same details. At times, Cruz is observed lying on his back staring at the ceiling and avoids eye contact. Cruz appeared restless and in deep thought other times.
NIKOLAS CRUZ INVESTIGATED AFTER SNAPCHAT CUTTING VIDEO, BUT NOT CONSIDERED A THREAT, REPORT SHOWS [snip]
On Feb. 24, the last entry of the records, Cruz requested a Bible. He doesnt sleep at night, according to the records, and instead twists and turns in bunk. He stares at wall in deep thought, eyes closed, appears to be resting [but] not asleep.

“Cruz was wearing a wine-colored ROTC polo shirt, black pants and black boots, when he was taken into custody. He was placed on a gurney and taken away in an ambulance. At 4:47 p.m., he was wheeled in to Broward Health North hospital in Deerfield Beach.
A short time later, he was brought to Broward Sheriffs Office headquarters in a marked agency car that was part of a short convoy.
Handcuffed and wearing what looked like a light blue hospital gown, he was led into the building by deputies.”
Rest assured, Cruz’s clothes were bagged asap.
What is your source for stating his clothes were bagged asap?
The author made a mountain out of a molehill. The article was a waste of time.
Another person under a gub mint shrink using psychotropic drugs.
Gee, seems like ALL them serial murderers are.
That’s automatic when you enter the Broward Health ER examination room.
‘Automatic’ under normal criminal circumstances. Who are you trying to serve here? My two sources, who I trust implicitly, tell me there is no bagged evidence of clothing he was wearing. And BTW, he arrived for booking already wearing a ‘jumpsuit’.
Sorry, I’m not buying it. Why would the dozen or so deputies and FBI agent intentionally discard the evidence of a mass murderers clothing?.....
Because you believe Cruz is a patsy? You posted this March 3—
“Actually, it has not been proven that the kid (19 yrs old!) did any shooting, and there will be no gunshot residue evidence or dna testing of blood if it were found because when Nikolas was apprehended his clothes were stripped off, including his shoes , and disposed of. No, not put in evidence bags, disposed of. He arrived in custody already in a jumpsuit. Thats right, his clothes were disp[osed of, so there is no physical evidence that he did any shooting!”
1. He was stripped at the hospital ER. He was televised in a hospital gown when he departed. It’s not clear when he changed from the gown into the orange jumpsuit.
2. The prosecutor has a mountain of evidence, perhaps even surveillance of some of the actual shootings. They would also have his discarded backpack, duffel bag, gas mask and the AR-15.
Since you are confident in your sources, pile it on to the troubles of the BSO. Email or phone the information: CNN, Miami Herald, or Sun-Sentinel News.
The rules of evidence were not followed. I believe my sources because of consistent past history. Now, if the evidence was not handled properly, how much are you willing to believe on this case?
It is appearing more and more that there is 'false flag' associated with this murdering. And I stand by my initial post you sought to misrepresent: no legal accounting has been done to establish this boy's guilt in all the deaths and wounding.
You assert he was taken first to the ER. Do you have a reason why ? Have you seen the videos of his custody into booking? Earn your perception management pay, agent.
Actually, he was NOT booked in a jumpsuit. There’s an AP photo of him entering the cage area wearing the hospital gown. The photographer had to sit all night to get that shot. It was 6AM the next day. He was interrogated for about 12 hours over night after the 45 min hospital visit.
(NEWSER) ” Nikolas Cruz was on Thursday morning formally charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder and booked into Broward County Main Jail. The Miami Herald reports the 19-year-old will be arraigned later Thursday and denied bond based on the charges. Cruz was taken to a hospital for labored breathing in the wake of the attack, reports the AP, and was subsequently questioned for hours by state and federal authorities.”
Where do your reliable sources claim he was held that night for the interrogation?
