Heads up! President Trump will hold presser in 15 minutes.6
I’ve followed Kudlow for years- he didn’t have to be bought, he’s always been no borders, both in trade and in immigration. If you know the WSJ editorial page position Kudlow is the same.
A Møøse once bit my sister...
Tariffs are bad. But they are indeed a weapon of last resort. I hate the concept of tariffs, but I hate far, FAR more the concept of allowing other countries to walk all over us for decades while LAUGHING about it and RIDICULING the USA while doing.
If you watch the Trump interview with Larry King years ago, you can see just how pissed he was back then, and its no surprise that he hungered for a chance to punch those people in the nose.
Thanks for that.
Understood.
Incidentally, I dumped the Journal years ago in favor of Investors Business Daily, not only for the shameless open borders/unlimited wars attitude of the WSJ editorial board, but more importantly IBD give more relevant information to actually make money with.
good move.
Why would he exempt a Chinese car company like Volvo?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No, that would be Rolvo.
Very good interview. My wife and I watch it every few months just to remember.
;-)
LOL ........ I remember that. Quite an interesting "act of God"/earthquake that was.
Along those lines, just maybe some were right when they conjectured that we desperately needed God on our side one more time in the short history of our nation when D. Trump was elected President of the United States.
North Korea Nuclear Test Site Collapse Killed 200 People:
(snips) --- More than 200 people are believed to have died in underground tunnels after a collapse at North Koreas Punggye-ri nuclear facility. The test site was reportedly badly shaken by the aftermath of the countrys sixth nuclear test, a 100-kiloton hydrogen bomb roughly seven times more powerful than the atomic bomb the U.S. dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.
North Korean sources told Japanese television channel Asahi TV that the collapse occurred in October during the construction of an underground tunnel at the facility.
See post # 31.
It's very funny.... perfect for a Wednesday morning viewing.
;-)
Yes. His absolute outrage was palpable...when he talked about being over in the UAE or something and they were laughing at him openly as a chump...he bristled in the telling of the tale.
I can almost see his imperious attitude if he met the guy from back then...
“Yeah. How you doin? Who’s the Boss now, chump?”
Good post. I would like to think that is true.
I had a discussion on another thread about voting for George Bush. We somewhat agreed voting for him over Gore and Kerry now seems like putting less grease on the skids that would carry us off the edge of a cliff.
I prefer to look at it now as buying time for someone like Trump to come along.
LOL.
That's about the only comfortable or wise way to look at it.
However ....... I worry every day FOR this President.
I do to. I have long maintained that Leftism in and of itself has a lot of Orwell’s “Doublethink” in it, that is, the concept of holding two diametrically opposed points of view inside your head, and making yourself believe that both are true, when only one of them can be.
It creates a cognitive dissonance, and I think in many leftists, it causes them to become unhinged.
And that worries me.
bump
I missed Trump’s speech; I will find it on youtube.
But I did see a press interaction with Ms. Lindsay Graham on how they are going to give police and others the power to go before a judge and prove you are dangerous and grab your guns. Ofcourse, we are assured, it will only be used for extreme situations like the Valentine shooter...Riiiiiight.
“Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.”
