I know that Rod Rosenstein marched Mueller up to the White House to try to get him appointed head of FBI. That failed and the next day Rosenstein appointed Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate Trump-Russian collusion.
I also know that Comey illegally leaked FBI memos to his professor buddy, and I think the Special Counsel appointment resulted from disclosure of that Comey memo.
What i don’t know or remember is what was in that Comey memo that set off the Special Counsel investigation ?

Comey said that Trump asked him for loyalty and wanted Comey to back off on Mike Flynn investigation.
