Canadians urge government to halt funding of UN charity, following reports claiming money was diverted to anti-Israel organizations.
Canadian citizens issued a call to their government to stop funding the United Nations charity, UNICEF, after it was reported that donations intended for educational purposes were instead given to BDS organization and activists around the world.
The Canadian citizens signing the petition hail from Toronto, Mississauga, Niagara, and other areas of Canada. They are supporters and members of the ‘Lev HaOlam’ Organization which works to fight the BDS movement and the boycott on products from Judea and Samaria. The petition highlights how money intended for educational purposes was “instead given by UNICEF to BDS groups around the world.”

There are a lot of things that are paid for with UN funds that are incompatible with Western Civilization.
It is an open question if we are better off with the UN or without it.
The existence of communication channels is positive, but if all that is in the channels are lies, deception and propaganda it has little value.
The Syrian cease fire resolution is a good recent example.
Can the UN be purged of the evil? Unanswered question. But I doubt it can, because of the internal structure and the percentage of evil leaders in place.
We dumped trick or treating with Unicef because of the ties to Palestinians. That was the 70’s.
Now, you know those little cardboard cutouts you fill with quarters. You find them at local markets and mom and pop shops. They’re also used for anti-Israeli activism under the guise of helping children with leukemia.
I gather (just my opinion) that most world wide charities are bogus.

American BDS Organization? The US Campaign supports BDS and calls for Israel’s destruction as a Jewish state. Rather than opposing particular Israeli policies, it opposes Israel’s very existence and rejects a two-state solution.

Free Republic is privately owned (I'm not connected to the owners in any way), does not support or tolerate anti-Semitic perspectives and is pro Israel and pro Christian. I'm sure we have some Muslim members. You will not see advocates of destruction of Israel here.

I made the same mistake when I first saw that abbreviation. It did not fit the context so I did a search with modified qualifiers and found the correct tern.

Note the timing of this article. In July 2013 Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood were removed from power in Egypt. the photo was of Hillary and the OIC crowd (including Turkey) in 2011. Obama and Hillary were clearly plotting along with the OIC to bring about total control of the Middle East to the Muslim Globalists. El Sisi in Egypt was the first stumbling block for them. Erdogan was active plotter with Obama's total support. There was evidence that Obama helped Morsi come to power in Egypt. It is clear that Morsi, Obama & Hillary supported the Jihadi's in early stages in the Syrian War.
