Not to take away from the fun aspect of being there, but...

I trust you will also represent both our real and our virtual Free Republics well. By mentioning to them that, with very rare exception, the only time the feds and your local mates should be ‘working together’ is when you are badgering them to remove regulations - on which front this admin has been fabulous. Do not sell your soul if they are dangling corrosive money and advice.

One of those very rare exceptions which might apply to you, of course, would be to say ‘build the dang wall already!’.

Other than that, stop for a drink at Bullfeathers. You are as likely to get a meeting with your congressmen there as you are on the Hill.

And if you have a chance for lunch or dinner, of course the Trump International, but there are also two spots right across on 15th St next to the White House: the Old Ebbit Grill, which has been there forever, and also the rooftop terrace of the Westin Hotel Washington, which looks down over the White House. There is a tree cover for a lot of it, but you can clearly see the building, and if a notable is arriving or leaving, they will be covered by the tree leaves, but you will know it because the black-clad sharpshooters all come up to the roof and take up postions. I've seen the hellicopter landing back there a few times, impressing my clients who didn't know about this place.
