This seat should be GOP, but an open seat is always fair game...and it appears the Democrats are going to go all out to win it with a candidate that will likely be very well funded.

The November election will be a “jungle” election and won’t have preceding primaries by party.

Considering the GOP-e and the idiots running it, I consider this in-play
Look for a Libertarian candidate to suddenly show up from no where to split the vote.

I also just read that special elections in Mississippi are “nonpartisan”...which adds another dynamic to this to possibly allow the Democrats a way to slip through the door.

It should be a solid GOP seat now occupied by a TEA supported candidate. But the GOPe insisted on pushing that senile Thad Cochran, even to the point of getting democrats to cross over for him in the primary.

If they can’t get a Bush League Republican elected they’ll help the Democrat win.

So if Espy wins, will he’ll get an award from ESPN?

The DNC has no funds. They’re basically broke compared to Rs.

The Democrats will make the race about race and the media will claim that a Republican said something racist.

So I guess we should expect (a) 98 percent black turnout, and (b) 27 year old sex allegations against the R candidate.

.
In a general election their importing of fraudulent votes won’t work so well as it did in the special election in Alabama.
