Momentum appears to have shifted in favor of Democrat Conor Lamb in a special election race to represent a Western Pennsylvania congressional district that voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump and elected former GOP Congressman Tim Murphy in the past eight elections, according to recent polling.
A poll released Monday by Boston's Emerson College shows Lamb, 33, of Mt. Lebanon, with a 3 percentage-point lead over Republican state Rep. Rick Saccone, 60, of Elizabeth Township, in the March 13 special election race to replace Murphy, who resigned in October amid an extramarital scandal.
The lead is within the poll's 4.8 percentage-point confidence interval, which is similar to a margin of error, and 7 percent of voters remain undecided. But it's the first poll to put Lamb ahead in a district Trump won by 19 percentage points in 2016 and where Saccone was up two months ago by 12 percentage points.

The plan is to let this election fly under the radar, and to steal it like the other special elections around the country, then the media will tout this as the harbinger for the fall for months.
Don't give the media that satisfaction.
The President is supposed to hold a campaign rally here on Saturday.
ANYONE who can push their friends to the polls to vote for Saccone needs to get them moving NOW!
Let's fight for this seat instead of sitting back and handing it to the rats.
“Soros has poured millions into this district to try to smear Saccone and to prop up the ultra-liberal Lamb who is pretending to be a “moderate.””
This is not an understatement. I live in this district. It is *insane* seeing signs everywhere on my commute for this election ... and there are a LOT of Lamb supporters.
The Dems are dragging out their 2006 textbook on winning the House back ... Lamb is running on a platform that involves not supporting Nancy Pelosi (we all know Pelosi will be elected Speaker should the unthinkable happen ... Nancy has given Lamb her blessing much like she did for the Dems in the House that voted against Obamacare).
This is one of those election we *really* cannot afford to lose. Pouring millions into a district like this can generate a win for the bad guys if the good guys don’t turn out and vote. This election seems to have become a problem now when it should be anything but that. This district is solid Trump country!
Not good.
What I don’t understand is why the RNC, which is apparently flush with cash, is not putting more effort here.
W!T!F?!?!
Trump needs to get there and say, “Lamb is a wolf in sheep’s clothing!” Trump also needs to read his ‘snake’ message again. They would be advised to quickly turn a tv spot around with Trump giving the ‘sheep’ line.
Bingo, and turnout is going to be down given that it is a special election. It’s up to us to literally drag our friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances to the polls.
It doesn’t matter that they are “electioned out” and tired. We need them and the country needs them.
Grassroots can pay off here, but we have to fight now. We can’t sit back and pretend that Soros his band of communists are going to give up, get tired or quit.
Government is their god. It means everything to them. They worship it. They live to control others. We need to fight them with every fiber of our being.
It’s probably just a push poll... that the media will grab and try to run with.
IDK, they’ve been winning these special elections lately. These GOPers and freedom lovers better get off their lazy azzes.
Dems haven’t turned one US House seat.
Oh come on ,get the Mint Jelly
Republicans have a bad habit of going to sleep during these kind of elections, especially in PA.

Thanks, good to know.
Really a shame that President Trump’s original date to rally for Saccone had to be cancelled due to the school shooting in Florida.
The rescheduled date is this next Saturday night.
Hoping that that won’t be too late to drum up enthusiasm to GOTV for Saccone and to expose Lamb’s true “character.”
Did watch their debate last night on CSPAN and have to admit that Lamb’s youth and telegenic assets were quite evident.
The GOP desperately needs to recruit candidates who are able to create such an impression.
Finally, I cannot fathom, comprehend how any responsible, reasonable citizen can bring themselves to cast a vote for the RATS!!!
“What I dont understand is why the RNC, which is apparently flush with cash, is not putting more effort here.”
Most likely they are sitting on the sidelines because Saccone isn’t “their kind of Republican!”
GOPe would rather have the Dem than a Trump Republican after all the GOPe are nothing more than Dem lite, WE havent had TRUE republican leadership in DECADES!!!! The BASTARDS only represent their DONORS not their constituents, their donors are ALL open border, FREE trade ASSHATS!!!!
They probably don't.
Media propaganda. The PA GOP needs to get out the vote. As long as they do, the Republican will win...
