I like most cheap hot sauce. My fav is that little shake bottle of yellow hot peppers in vinegar. Dash it on some fried, hot catfish. Yum.... Can never find it in grocery stores.

That’s by Texas Pete, green pepper sauce. Green tabasco peppers, vinegar and salt. The peppers season the vinegar, and you sprinkle the pepper vinegar on your food, not the peppers themselves, they stay in the bottle. Different from typical eastern NC barbecue places that make their own to put on the table, you see a bottle of vinegar with red pepper flakes, any number of things in there, varies from one restaurant to the next. A very old thing, vinegar with herbs and spices in it, in Elizabethan times that was called... catsup. We know it as ketchup. Not the same now, obviously.
