Thanks for the tip Hillary.
Have you seen 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi yet?
Lots of action, and a great message. Take Bill too.

The film Black Panther is seen as a groundbreaking celebration of black culture
I musta missed the "Superman" or "Wonder Woman" as an celebration of Ayran culture
Gad, it was fiction by a Jewish comic book artist.

“The film Black Panther is seen as a groundbreaking celebration of black culture and many black people are moved by the movie, as well they should be. It has been described as a revolutionary step forward for black superheroes by Rolling Stone.”
Sounds similar all those TV ads with all the blacks being the successful and smart people and having nothing to do with reality. Just an exercise in gaslighting.

Saw Black Panther with Bill this afternoon & loved it. Beautiful film, lots of action, and a great message. Dont miss it!
It's an entertaining movie, but it's based on a comic book - there is no "great message" unless you find incredible meaning in fantasy characters living in a fantasy kingdom doing the things characters do in comic books.

Finally saw black panther ... good movie, but probably I was a victim of too much hype.
I think all this “celebration of black culture” is liberals projecting their values on the movie. It primarily is an action and adventure movie, not a political one.
In fact the deep political thrust is not about race relations at all.
POSSIBLE SPOILER
The struggle in the minds of Wakandans is whether to keep hidden and keep to themselves (nationalism, populism) or to share their technological prowess with the rest of the world (globalism). Whether this is accidental because it is featured in the comics or intentional I don’t know. But clearly the writers are coming down on the side of rejecting populism. If there was any heavy hitting political theme that is the theme I saw.
The race stuff was kind of clumsy, and I was never totally sure what the antagonist was getting at....did he feel that because the king shared his skin color, that Wakandans should have interfered when slavery was an issue in the US Republic?
