The Democrats will turn even more leftist and try to run on a hate Trump platform. Just look at the electoral map from 2016. Hillary carried the left coasts and a few liberal bastions in the south and Midwest. The rest of the country rejected her. Do they really believe that turning even more left will attract the normal people on flyover country?
California and New York are beyond saving because of their rotten to the core cities. But I think Places with steel and coal and manufacturing are lost to the dems.
