I don’t like this overconfidence.

Democrats are full of anger and anxious for payback. We’ll see what shakes out in 2018, but I think Democrats are going to come out in droves. I know some of them and they are loaded for bear. I know some who even went to that pussycat hat march in DC.

I also know many people who voted for Trump who are turned off by his arrogant buffoonish behavior.

Flame away, but those are my observations within my circle of friends - and I live in a conservative country.

Anger and payback can be highly motivating.

They can run on hate but they don’t have a positive message.

That gets their base motivated to vote but still keeps them a long way from getting rid of Trump.

And Democrats are even more divided than Republicans.

If former Trump voters are turned off by his buffoonish behavior, why did they vote for him to begin with? He is no different now then he was while campaigning.

Any of your friends who look at what he has accomplished and then don’t vote for him because of his behavior are total fools.

Democrats are gearing up for an all out Get-out-the-vote campaign in 2018. Candidates from county district attorney on up are being flooded with outside money and organizational support. Trump’s agenda, if not Trump, is at stake. The state of the economy by 2020 will be anyone’s guess. We have a midterm coming up in 8 months. Anyone who calls himself a conservative, and wants to abstain this year on grounds of ideological purity, much less 2020, reveals a profound ignorance of reality and the way things work.
