I have been looking for that yellow cardinal!

I’ve been seeing lots of red ones and they are all singing up a storm and fighting as it is full on mating season here.

Same with blue birds, various warblers, sparrows and finches. Even the hawks have been pairing up.

Very noisy outside compared to just a month ago.

You’re not kidding AB. Birds are singing and last week I saw a robin hopping along the front lawn, grabbing worms.

Beloved husband and I used to have a contest as to who would see the first robin of the season. Usually one is spotted in February and that person wins.

This year I guess I won.

The birds are restless, I can feel it in the air.

I was in and all around Northern Alabama last week....a warm , glorious, spring-is-coming week. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Heard about the yellow cardinal and kept my eyes peeled.
