If Trump is doing what they want in Gun Control, then they can’t read any stupid jokes about him.

He isn't. When will FReepers learn to watch what Trump does, not what he says? So in a public meeting Trump says some very non-conservative things about the 2nd Amendment, guns, the NRA, etc. But what he did afterwards was to meet with the NRA, giving them the opportunity to say THEY "talked some sense into Trump" about gun control. What does this little drama do? It strengthens the NRA when they were under assault from many quarters and were a bit rocked back on their heels.

It is interesting that the “Best Picture” grossed only $65M worldwide. Compared to La La Land grossing nearly $450M worldwide. Both had comparable multiples of production costs to revenue, so even with the award it wasn’t seen by theo world as in the same class.

I point this out as the comparison to Trump and his election is thus even more stark. The presenters should probably have accepted they really read the right name and been done with it - but unlike the electoral process where the real winner could not be easily overturned, they were able to “correct” their mistake and read the winner only the left would choose.

I got re-instated, thankfully and have been greatly impressed by Mr Trump's stamina and endurance on taking on BOTH parties "Grand Potentates".

Even Reagan couldn't have sustained the attacks My President Trump has endured.

Mr Trump isn't prefect, it must be admitted. He has flaws that would have made him unelectable in years past. But then again society isn't what it was when Reagan was elected. More to the pity.

But Mr Trump is a scrapper. Will fight to his last breath.
