Not a surprise. Two peas in a pod. The bigger question is how did that link in to the killings.

Polanski and Weinstein didn't know each other at the time of the Tate killings, so no direct connection. Some indirect connections are interesting, however. For example, Manson was involved with a Hollywood pornography ring which included Polanski and his producer Robert Evans, who later ended up working on The Cotton Club with Roy Radin, implicated in a child prostitution/porn ring himself, prior to being murdered, allegedly on orders from Evans; Evans also became part of Weinstein's network. Again, no direct connection to the Tate killing, but plenty of connections to the same Hollywood porn/prostitution network and various rape cases.
