I dont know if Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was ever honored in the rotunda, but if he had died as an old man, he most certainly would have been. He was an ordained minister, just like Billy Graham.True. And he has a permanent statue on the National Mall, and hundreds of streets, parks and schools named after him thoughout the country.

The county where I live is named after him. It was originally named after some long-forgotten politician named King, but they changed it to MLK some years ago.
