Those probing the matter believe that McCabe, who stepped down in January, misled them when they initially inquired about the subject, though one person familiar with the forthcoming report said McCabe disputes that he intentionally misled investigators.

When do we want justice?
Guess you can lie to an IG........mislead BS......you lied.
Americans want Justice already.
Dead witnesses. Coverup by McCabe.
Uranium treason. Coverup by McCAbe and Mueller.
Felonies against children. Coverup by Comey, McCabe.
How many dead does it take to put one person on Trial?
Jeez! Stop bothering Hillary's body bag supplier before you fill one!
Its ok. The FBI has exempted itself from being liable for ... well for much of anything it chooses to do.
said McCabe disputes that he intentionally misled investigators.
Tell that to Martha Stewart and Scooter Libby.
L
Andrew McCabe.
He was the one who, in May 2016 (when the FBI opened an investigation on then Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe and his "relationships" with the Clinton Foundation, may have been getting illegal campaign contributions) went to talk to McAuliffe.
Hmmm.
This is the same Andrew McCabe whose DEMOCRAT wife ran for the Virginia Senate in 2015 and lost, but...got $700,000 from organizations whose purse strings were controlled by McAuliffe.
This is the same Andrew McCabe who THEN later promoted to Deputy Director of the FBI, and THEN assumed control of the Hillary Clinton email "matter" (not INVESTIGATION!")
THIS STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN.
“said McCabe disputes that he intentionally misled investigators.”
Really your Honor. I didn’t intentionally rob that bank, murder the guard, carjack and take the driver and her infant son hostage, run over 6 people and escape to Mexico.
I had no criminal intent. I was just asking the bank to support my favorite charity.
Democrats mislead
Republicans lie
Words matter
So is the IG’s office leaking or are people he questioned putting two and two together and trying to get out in front of what they anticipate will be his findings?
The problem with anonymously sourced “news” reports is that you never know.
‘misled’... I think they usually refer to that as perjury, but unfortunately, he was probably not under oath when he ‘misled’ them.
I had no criminal intent either. Moving all those high end electronics from their house to mine was just a prank!
