Judging what came out of this Trump/NRA meeting, I’m reasonably confident our President got his ears pinned back and his intemperate comments will die of loneliness rather than being walked back.

That’s fine by me. I know Trump, and that is how Trump apologizes.

I’m good with that. I can forget him making the comment and move forward. But I still know where he stands on reciprocity, and I will not forget that he said that thing during his campaign and I now know that there is no plan to make that a reality.

I think we can all forgive but none of us will forget.
