im sorry...but hes cutting his own throat. Hes got to stop doing these photo op meetings...trying to “be good on television”....I thank god he won...hes the only one that could have beat Clinton, but, and i hate to say this, he says whatever the hell talking point that comes into his head. Those weird kids and the media have been attacking the NRA non stop the last 2 weeks...and Trump did exactly that yesterday. And the incredible “due process” remark defies belief. He did the same thing with the “immigration” listening thing a few months back ...kept throwing around the term “comprehensive reform”..when he clearly didnt know what the hell that meant..Kevin Macarthy finally jumped in and bailed him out...of course, none of what he said yesterday will go anywhere in this Congress...but if he doesnt clean this up today and soon, he’ll be in the 20’s next week approval wise. He loses his base..hes toast. From what ive seen here,hes doing just that....THIS SHOOTING WAS A LAW ENFORCEMENT FAILURE on every count. The laws are there..lazy cops didnt do their jobs. What worries me most..imagine if the Dems sweep both Houses in November..theyll either impeach him for sure or he’ll just go along with them. This kills me to say this stuff, but at times he just sounds clueless to what hes even saying..very unsettling...
he didn’t reject national reciprocity, he just said that issue should be put into a separate bill, to prevent the dems from voting against any bill that comes out of this discussion.
As for Trump loyalists… well they only had a few possible routes to take. They could say “he doesn’t really mean it”, they could say “he has a point you know”, or they could say “hmm? Gun meeting? No, I didn’t hear about that, hey have you seen Black Panther?”
