Watch the video before commenting on any media lies and interpretations of what Trump said. We owe it to ourselves and Trump to do at least that.
I've read so many comments here where people actually believed what the media said Trump said. It's pretty sad those commenters don't take the time to vet the media's lies and misinterpretations.

He want’s them to talk. And He wants the NRA to talk. It’s simple. I’m observed the downside of being to petrified to talk in management where I work. It’s a negative on the company’s bottom line.

As for Trump loyalists… well they only had a few possible routes to take. They could say “he doesn’t really mean it”, they could say “he has a point you know”, or they could say “hmm? Gun meeting? No, I didn’t hear about that, hey have you seen Black Panther?”
