Watch the video before commenting on any media lies and interpretations of what Trump said. We owe it to ourselves and Trump to do at least that.
I've read so many comments here where people actually believed what the media said Trump said. It's pretty sad those commenters don't take the time to vet the media's lies and misinterpretations.

My view if your old enough to be in the Military carrying a gun into combat and risking being killed then if we change the age of gun ownership to 21 years old we should not be taking men into the military at 18,19,and 20 years old. The Voting age likewise needs to be 21 too.
Keeping guns out of hunters hands because of a mental case shooter is just wrong.
AR is the most popular hunting rifle, but its just that not, a military sub-machine gun.

I would suggest reading while watching the video of the discussion. I have watched the first 30 minutes and plan on watching the rest later today. I have not come away with a feeling of doom (like so many have expressed) thus far.
Well - if it ends up at 21 - Military should be allowed at age of enlistment, or thereabouts.
just watch Kelly Anne on Fox and Friends..she was “dancing like crazy” trying to defend yesterday..she actually mentioned Wal Mart and Dicks raising the buying age...go ahead and punish millions of 18, 19 and 20 year olds for something one maniac did..polls are even showing the public says the cops blew this. Pass laws that make you “feel good”..real smart...November will be a disaster.

You learn to be responsible with a gun in the military. That’s what’s missing with some 18 year old civilians, people like Cruz.
Our kids had Hunter Safety when they were in grade school. Did Cruz? I’d bet not, and I would further bet he had no gun training at all. I’d bet that most young people who use guns in a criminal way have had no training. This is why I can support moving gun ownership to 21 and leave military at 18. The military experience will provide training many 18 year olds might not otherwise get.
