Time to face that Sessions is a bad joke, one we really can’t afford to entertain.
Yes fire Sessions, fire Rosenstein, and fire everyone else at DoJ if necessary. Trump’s primary mandate was to restore the rule of law. This is his job, and if he fails at it he’s not going to find a lot of enthusiasm behind him in 2020.
If Trump fires Sessions he cannot get the Senate to approve another AG of his choosing... which leaves Rosenstein as acting AG. If he fires Rosenstein, then who is running DOJ? No one we would choose.
