Toomey described it for Trump, saying the bill strengthens the reporting of information into the background check system and requires background checks on all commercial sales. This is code-talk for requiring background checks on private gun sales, which Toomey described as sales at gun shows and online (even though online sales already require a background check).
Maine splits its electoral votes, like Nebraska.
Trump won Maine’s Second Congressional District in November 2016 by 10 points against the Marxist witch. The Second District is Maine covers 80% of the state and is the largest Congressional District in area east of the Mississippi River.
Trump came here three times during the campaign. Don Jr. visited as well, and went to a gun shop and a gun range. Eric and his wife visited an apple orchard in western Maine during the Fall campaign, too.
The same election, Bloomturd’s Every Town for Gun Grabbing had a ballot initiative here in Maine which would have banned the private sale of firearms in Maine.
Despite Bloomturd’s heavy spending, the people of Maine said no to the ban on the sale of private firearms. Bloomturd lost, we still have private gun sales in Maine.
Now Trump wants to end that? I hope he reconsiders, because the base will go BOOM and Trump can kiss the 2018 midterms goodbye and 2020 as well. Hope he’s smart enough not to do this crap.
