I’m curious where you got that list. It’s my understanding that many states reporting is selective. Additionally, voluntary commitments may not appear at all since they’re not necessarily disqualifying. Still, the danger issue may not be addressed. However you’re talking about involuntary court ordered commitments when you talk about NICS, the President simply talks about mental illness. This is an aspect of the NICS law that needs to be addressed.
