Why is the drinking age 21
The American People are NOT going to accept the usual “do nothing” dogmas anymore. Both sides are going to have to accept SOME reasonable compromises or you are going to get something much worse pushed down your throats in the name of “doing something” when the voters turn the government over to the Dems out of disgust with the do nothings.
Most rational people do not have a problem with them doing something.....but that something needs to make a difference. Raising the age to buy a gun is not going to make a difference. If they want one to kill people they’ll get one, illegally. They already do. How many guns used in gang murders, etc. do you think have been legally purchased and registered? I bet that I, a law abiding citizen, could buy an illegal gun if I wanted to.
They should be talking about how to harden all the soft targets and gun free zones instead of this nonsense. Age limits on guns is an ant hill compared to the real problem.
