Heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, farm tractors and equipment, ships, locomotives, heavy equipment like bulldozers and road graders, military vehicles all use diesel. Just because cars will be off the menu, others will find it cheaper...................

Yes, there were a few brief years where there was no dividing line between Diamler Benz and Chrysler.
That is definitely history. Thank the globalists.

I’ve had some great rigs from Dodge.
Had a ‘64 factory hotrod 426 / 4 speed. Very impressive car, that I later dumped a 440 sixpack into. And it got 22 MPG at 80 MPH all day due to its 13:1 compression ratio.
Also had a ‘65 Dodge PU that was as tough as nails, although a bit tireing to steer when parking.
Those days are gone forever.

Wow. I guess that museum wouldn’t be considered “private hands”... But still darn few.
YoYo posted a nice vid at reply 20.

Before they devised the heat exchanger, they said a minor drawback to the turbine engine was how, when stopped in traffic, the car behind you would be getting its front end pieces welded together.
And THAT is why no one ever tailgated the Batmobile.
