As a native Connecticut resident, it is sad to say that my home state is probably beyond redemption or renewal. CT is a one-party, Leftist Democrat fiefdom. Taxes are sky high, as is state debt. Gov. Malloy wants to impose further tax hikes and NEW taxes, like reinstating tolls on I-95. The states unfounded liabilities, like pensions are through the roof. Its so bad that big employers like GE have fled the state, to Mass. no less! The exodus of people continues. Inner city schools in Hartford, New Haven, and Bridgeport are in horrible shape. Our elected representatives are a Whos Who of Liberal moonbats. As someone who has waged a life long battle against these destructive forces, I can tell you it is heart breaking to lose ones home. Our side is around 40+ % of the electorate and we seem to have been routed. Let us be a warning to others. It can happen to your home too.

SALT deduction limit will make those tax hikes hurt even more. People in CT will blame Trump for his new tax plan, but in reality, it’s the state legislature’s fault for making State and Local Taxes so high in the first place.
I support the SALT limit. Americans in low tax states have been subsidizing the budgets of high tax states for too long.
Connecticut sounds like California without the nice weather. Too bad. I suspect there are a lot of moving vans taking the more ambitious and the retired south on I-95 to North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
