We had a 2 then a 4 and now we have a Sovereign. We could land on some really short runways with the 2. Used to fly into Gimli, Manitoba onour Canadian fishing trips and our pilots didn’t like that runway.

Still, to me the MU-2 is just about the most bad ass plane the Japanese ever produced as a GA platform. The short field and rate of climb is phenomenal. Gotta stay on top and out front of it by a long way, but one very nice plane.
